Simeon the Great, the legendary emperor of the First Bulgarian Empire, is renowned for his military genius and cultural achievements that defined Bulgaria’s Golden Age. General Story
In 893, Simeon ascended the Bulgarian throne with a bold ambition: to claim the title of Roman Emperor. In the summer of 917, he led an army of 60,000 troops to invade the Byzantine Empire. After a decisive victory at the Battle of Achelous, Simeon advanced toward Constantinople, the most heavily fortified city of the Middle Ages. Although he did not capture the city, his forces devastated Byzantine lands, dealing a severe blow to the empire’s prestige.
Over the following five years, Simeon launched four more campaigns against Constantinople. In 925, he proclaimed himself Emperor of the Romans and Bulgarians, declaring the Byzantines his subjects and securing his position as the undisputed ruler of Southeast Europe.

Empire Offensive: When leading an army in attack, Simeon increases the attack of ranged troops and siege machines by 20%. Additionally, if a dragon is present, ranged troop attack receives a further 15% boost.
As an awakened General, Simeon the Great’s special skills improve with each Ascension star, unlocking new abilities with every level gained.
