Evony recently added a new leisure event, Poseidon’s Day. Through this event, we can experience the fun of fishing and obtain important items for our core development. To master this gameplay as comprehensively as possible, we have summarized some experience. In addition, the rules and rewards that must be understood are classified and sorted. Sea Fishing Rules and Tips
During the event, you can use Treasure Sea Chart or Bait to enter the Prime Sea Area and Common Sea Area to start sea fishing. It is easier to catch high-star items in the Prime Sea Area than in the Common Sea Area.
The ‘fish’ are divided into Marine Cresture, Rare Object, Wheel of Fortune, and Statue. You can view the star rating, depth, number of Poseidon Ancient Coins that can be harvested, and the scores represented by each fish in <Collections>. The higher the star rating of your catch, the more Poseidon Ancient Coins and scores you’ll get, but they’ll also be at a greater depth. (The Poseidon Ancient Coin is shaped like a harpoon.) Besides, you can also earn additional rewards by accumulating stars.
When you enter the sea fishing interface, there will be a 3-second countdown, so you can prepare yourself. After the countdown ends, the hook starts to descend. The initial descent speed is very fast, and you are invincible during this period. The hook has a certain number of protection times, which will be consumed when it touches an object. Therefore, when the descent speed slows down, you need to dodge objects in the sea by sliding left and right (mobile) or pressing the left and right keys (PC) so that the hook can descend to deeper waters as much as possible. The deeper the sea, the greater the probability of catching rare items.
The Way to Obtain and Use Poseidon Ancient Coin
After harvesting the fish, you can claim gems, Poseidon Ancient Coins, scores, and total star rewards in the Collections interface.
Poseidon Ancient Coins can be used to upgrade fishing gear – Cable Rope, Lead Sinker, and Fish Hook.
After all fishing gears have reached the maximum level, you can also unlock the Fishing function. Catch rare items by casting a net. Casting a net to catch fish also consumes Poseidon Ancient Coins.
Poseidon Ancient Coins will automatically disappear after the event ends, so you need to use them in time.
Sea Fishing Attribute Boost Items
Treasure Sea Chart is a must-have item for Prime Sea Area.
In addition, there are some auxiliary items that can enhance sea fishing capabilities.
- Stabilizer – It can increase the number of protections.
- Lamp – It can expand the field of vision.
- Sensor – When a rare quality object approaches, the direction and distance will be displayed above it.
- Conch Horn – Can summon at least 1 new object, which will emit a halo and be recognized by the sensor.
- Fishing Catch Voucher – It can increase the extra earnings of Poseidon Ancient Coins and activity scores obtained this time by a certain multiple.

You can get once free props per day, including Treasure Sea Chart*1, Bait*1, Lamp*1, Sensor*1, and Stabilizer*1. To get more, you need to purchase Ocean Offering packages. Conch Horn can only be obtained from the packages, and Fishing Catch Voucher can only be obtained from the highest level Ocean Offering package.

Fishing Gear Upgrade
The higher the level of your fishing gear, the greater your chance of catching high-star items.

Top Chart Rules and Rewards
The event ranking comprises multiple servers. Everyone will be ranked based on accumulated event scores. Rankings are updated every 5 minutes.
If two or more players have the same scores, whoever reaches the score first will be ranked higher.
At the end of the event, we will receive the ranking rewards via mail.

Sea Anglers Association
Reaching certain amounts of event points can increase your sea fishing level. Upon reaching certain levels, corresponding level rewards can be claimed.
Furthermore, unlocking any sea fishing privilege will grant you a bonus in Poseidon Ancient Coins and event points.
- Unlock the privilege rewards of the Sea Fishing Star to obtain a 20% bonus to Poseidon Ancient Coins and event points.
- Unlock the privilege rewards of the Sea Fishing Master to obtain a 50% bonus to Poseidon Ancient Coins and event points.
Sea Angles Association Rewards:
Normal rewards, Sea Fishing Star rewards, and Sea Fishing Master rewards are different at the same level.
The quality of the reward is proportional to the price of the privilege.
