General Story

At the chaotic end of the Sui Dynasty, Cheng Yaojin emerged as a fierce protector, leading a band of brave warriors and becoming a legendary hero.

He joined the Wagang Army, his spear cutting down countless foes, shining brightly on the battlefield. During the Battle of Mount Beiwang, Cheng’s bravery was legendary. When a key general fell, wounded by a stray arrow, Cheng charged into enemy lines, rescuing him by placing him on his horse. Despite a spear piercing his back and chest, Cheng didn’t fall. With a mighty roar, he snapped the spear and scared off his pursuers.

Later, Cheng found his rightful lord and helped unify the Tang Dynasty, earning a spot among the 24 heroes immortalized in Lingyan Pavilion.
