Simeon the Great, often referred to as Simeon I, was an emperor of the First Bulgarian Empire. Known as a warlike sovereign, his reign marked an unparalleled period of cultural prosperity and enlightenment, later celebrated as the Golden Age of Bulgarian culture. General Story
In 893, Simeon ascended to the Bulgarian throne with a clear goal: to claim the crown of the Roman Emperor. In the midsummer of 917, he led 60,000 troops to invade the Byzantine Empire. After a victorious battle at Achelous, he marched towards Constantinople, the most fortified city of the Middle Ages. Although he failed to breach its walls, the Bulgarian army had already devastated Byzantine territories, humiliating the Byzantine Empire.
Over the next five years, Simeon brought his forces to Constantinople four more times. In 925, he proclaimed himself Emperor of the Romans and Bulgarians, declaring that the Byzantines were now his people, thus becoming the undisputed overlord of Southeast Europe.

Empire Offensive: Increases ranged troops and siege machines’ attack by 20% when leading an army in an attack. Additionally, ranged troops’ attack increases by another 15% when a dragon is present.

Simeon the Great cannot be recruited in the Tavern but can be acquired through Epic Historic General orders.

- Limited Recruit: During the Limited Recruit Event, collect General fragments of Simeon the Great when he appears in the event pool. This event rotates the types of generals available.
- King’s Scheme: Participate in the King’s Scheme Event and redeem the third item, Epic Historic General (Super), for a chance to get Simeon the Great. This redemption is available once per event.
