Amir Timur, the founder of the Timurid Empire, is widely regarded as one of history’s greatest military leaders and tacticians, though also one of the most brutal. In Evony, Amir Timur is a General who can lead troops to gather resources and increase their load capacity. This article will introduce his story, special skill, and specialty, as well as discuss the methods to obtain him. Please read on.
The Story
As the founder of the Timurid Empire in Persia and Central Asia, Amir Timur became the first ruler of the Timurid dynasty. In 1402, Timur invaded Anatolia and defeated Bayezid in the Battle of Ankara. Bayezid was captured in battle and subsequently died in captivity. After the victory at Ankara, Timur’s army ravaged Western Anatolia.
The Special Skill
King of Destruction – Increases troop load by 100% when the General is leading the army.
As an Awakened General, the star level of Amir Timur’s special skill increases with his ascension. Each star level provides unique attributes, as shown in the following image.

How to Obtain Amir Timur
- Recruit from Tavern
- You can recruit him from the Tavern. To increase the chance of refreshing Epic Historic Generals, you need to upgrade the Tavern. Currently, level 35 of the Tavern will maximize the probability.
- Redeem from General Portrait Exhibition
- Participate in the General Portrait Exhibition Event for a chance to obtain Amir Timur by redeeming the first item “Epic Historic General (Common)” and the second item “General Hall I Historic General.”
- Redeem from King’s Scheme
- Participate in the King’s Scheme Event for another chance to get him by redeeming the first item “Epic Historic General (Common).”
