Miltiades’s Background
In ancient Greece’s illustrious history, one hero stands out. His family claimed descent from the legendary Achilles. His lineage endowed him with a fierce desire for victory and glory. This hero was none other than Miltiades, the esteemed general and statesman of Athens.
In 490 BC, on the plains of Marathon, the Persian king sent a vast army to conquer Athens. Despite being outnumbered, Miltiades masterfully used the terrain, forming an impenetrable Greek phalanx. The Persians, though numerous and well-equipped, lost their advantage in the chaos. At the crucial moment, Miltiades executed a brilliant flanking maneuver, crushing the Persian forces and achieving a miraculous victory. This triumph not only stopped the Persian invasion but also unified the Greek city-states. The marathon race commemorates this legendary victory.
Miltiades’ name is forever etched in history due to his triumph at the Battle of Marathon. He is not just the celebrated hero of the Marathon plains but also a unique and shining figure in the relentless flow of destiny.

Alessandra | +250 | +140 | +220 | +22 | √ | |

In addition to the above combinations, Miltiades can also be combined with many generals, such as Elise, Hannibal, Scipio Africanus, Maeda Toshiie, Soult, Basil II, Trajan, Alexander the Great, etc. Among them, Soult conflicts with the ground troop attack skill book.
However, Miltiades can not match with Turenne and Sweyn Forkbeard because their special skills conflict.
